Java program to find the product of two numbers

Using for loop – Program 1

This program is used to find the multiplication of two numbers entered by the user – using for loop without arithmetic operator

import java.util.Scanner;
class ProductNumWithOutope1{
public static void main(String args[]){
int product=0;
    Scanner scan=new Scanner(System.in); //create a scanner object for input
System.out.print("Enter the first number: ");
int n1=scan.nextInt();//get input from the user for num1
System.out.print("Enter the second number: ");
int n2=scan.nextInt();//get input from the user for num2

for(int i=0; i<n2; i++){
    product=add(product,n1);
}
System.out.print("product of"+n1+"and"+n2+" is: "+product);
}

When the above code is executed, it produces the following results

Enter the first number: 30
Enter the second number: 25
Product of 30 and 25 is : 750

 

Using while loop – Program 2

This program is used to find the multiplication of two numbers entered by the user – using while loop without arithmetic operator

When the above code is executed, it produces the following results
