In this tutorial, we will discuss strtok string function in C programming language

strtok() -In C programming language, strtok()  used to breaks the token into a series of the string using the delimiter.

Declaration

Syntax

The syntax of the strtok() function in the c language is :

char *strtok(char *str1, const char *delemiters);

parameter or arguments

str1– The content of the string is separated into a smaller part of the string(smaller token)

delimiters(String) – It is containing delimiter characters used to breaks token

Returns

The strtok() returns a pointer to the first character of the token. If the token cannot be found, a null pointer is returned

In this program input string “My website, code for coding, for learning coding” is analyzed using strtok() function, delimiter comma(,) is used to separates each substring from the main string
