JavaScript program to Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit
JavaScript program to Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit
In this tutorial, we will discuss the concept of the JavaScript program to Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit
In this post, we will learn how to write a program to convert Celsius into Fahrenheit using the scientific equations in JavaScript programming language with an Example program.
Temperature and conversion
Generally, We have known three types of temperature units Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin. In this article, we are discussing how to convert temperature units Celsius into Fahrenheit. Fahrenheit and Celsius are the measuring units in degrees as 0F and 0C respectively.
Scientific equation Fahrenheit= Celsius*9/5+32
Code to Convert Celsius into Fahrenheit
Convert Celsius into Fahrenheit
In this program, the user declares and initializes a variable Celsius as 90.0. It will be converted into Fahrenheit, by the scientific equation using the JavaScript programming language.
Program 1
//Program to Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit //Declare and initialize variable Celsius const celsius=90; const fahrenheit=(celsius*1.8)+32 //Display the result console.log(`${celsius} degrees Celsius is equal to ${fahrenheit } degrees Fahrenheit.` );
When the above code is executed, it produces the following result
90 degrees Celsius is equal to 194 degrees Fahrenheit.
Convert Celsius into Fahrenheit – Entered by the user
In this program, the user declares the variables for Celsius and Fahrenheit, then the user is asked to enter a value to Celsius. It will be converted to Fahrenheit, by the scientific equation using the JavaScript programming language
Program 2
//Program to Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit //Ask input from the user const celsius=prompt("Enter a Celsius value: "); const fahrenheit=(celsius*1.8)+32 //Display the result console.log(`${celsius} degrees Celsius is equal to ${fahrenheit } degrees Fahrenheit.` );
When the above code is executed, it produces the following result
Enter a Celsius value: 66 66 degrees Celsius is equal to 150.8 degrees Fahrenheit.
