Program to convert Celsius into Fahrenheit in Java
Program to convert Celsius into Fahrenheit in Java
In this tutorial, we will discuss the concept of the Program to convert Celsius into Fahrenheit in Java
In this post, we will learn how to write a program to convert Celsius into Fahrenheit using the scientific equations in Java programming language with an Example program.
Temperature and conversion
Generally, We have known three types of temperature units Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin. In this article, we are discussing how to convert temperature units Celsius into Fahrenheit. Fahrenheit and Celsius are the measuring units in degrees as 0F and 0C respectively.
scientific equationFahrenheit= Celsius*9/5+32
Code to Celsius into Fahrenheit
Celsius into Fahrenheit
In this program, the user declares and initializes a double variable Celsius as 100.0. It will be converted into Fahrenheit, by the scientific equation using the Java programming language.
Program 1
class Con_Cel_to_Fah{ public static void main(String args[]){ double celsius=100.0; double fahrenheit=((9*(celsius)/5.0)+32); System.out.println(celsius+" degree Celsius is =" +Fahrenheit+ " degree fahrenheit"); } }
When the above code is executed, it produces the following result
100.0 degree Celsius is =212.0 degree Fahrenheit
Celsius into Fahrenheit – Entered by the user
In this program, the user declares the variable as Double for Celsius, then the user is asked to enter a double value to Celsius. It will be converted into Fahrenheit, by the scientific equation using the Java programming language
Program 2
import java.util.Scanner; class Con_Cel_to_Fah_Input{ public static void main(String args[]){ Scanner temp=new Scanner(System.in); System.out.println("Enter a degree in Celsius: "); double celsius=temp.nextDouble(); double fahrenheit=((9*(celsius)/5.0)+32); System.out.println(celsius+" degree Celsius is =" +fahrenheit+ " degree Fahrenheit"); } }
When the above code is executed, it produces the following result
Enter a degree in Celsius: 0.0 0.0 degree Celsius is =32.0 degree Fahrenheit
