Program 1

Find the greatest of three numbers using if elif statements

This program allows the user to enter three numbers and compare to select the smallest number using if-elif statements

num1=int(input("Enter the first number: "))
num2=int(input("Enter the second number: "))
num3=int(input("Enter the third number: "))

def find_Smallest():  #function definition
    if(num1<=num2) and (num1<=num3):
        Smallest=num1
    elif(num2<=num1) and (num2<=num3):
        Smallest=num2
    else:
        Smallest=num3
    print("Smallest number is", Smallest)
find_Smallest();     #functio call

When the above code is executed, it produces the following results

Enter the first number: 43
Enter the second number: 90
Enter the third number: 56
Smallest number is 43

Find the smallest of three numbers using nested if statements

This program allows the user to enter three numbers and compare to select the smallest number using Nested if statements

num1=int(input("Enter the first number: "))
