In this tutorial, we will discuss the concept of the JavaScript function to Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit
In this post, we will learn how to write a program to convert Celsius into Fahrenheit using the function in JavaScript programming language with an Example program.
Temperature and conversion
Generally, We have known three types of temperature units Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin. In this article, we are discussing how to convert temperature units Celsius into Fahrenheit. Fahrenheit and Celsius are the measuring units in degrees as 0F and 0C respectively.
scientific equation Fahrenheit= Celsius*9/5+32
In this program, the user declares a variable as a parameter for Celsius(c) in the user-defined function. When the user calls the function, the Celsius value passes to the function as an argument through the variable.
Finally, the Fahrenheit value is calculated and displayed on the screen using the function in the JavaScript programming language.
Program 1
//Program to Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit function CelsTofahre(c){ return (celsius*1.8)+32 } const celsius=95; var result=CelsTofahre(celsius) //Display the result console.log(`${celsius} degree Celsius is equal to ${result} degrees Fahrenheit .` );
When the above code is executed, it produces the following result
95 degree Celsius is equal to 203 degrees Fahrenheit.
Program 2
In this program, the user declares a variable as a parameter for Celsius(c) in the user-defined function. When the you calls the function, the user is asked to enter the Celsius value, and the given value passes to the function as an argument.
Finally, the Fahrenheit value is calculated and displayed on the screen using the function in the JavaScript programming language
//Program to Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit //Using a function function CelsTofahre(c){ return (celsius*1.8)+32 } const celsius=prompt("Enter a Celsius value: "); var result=CelsTofahre(celsius) //Display the result console.log(`${celsius} degree Celsius is equal to ${result} degrees Fahrenheit.` );
When the above code is executed, it produces the following result
Enter a Celsius value: 100 100 degree Celsius is equal to 212 degrees Fahrenheit.
