Generally, We have known three types of temperature units Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin. In this article, we are discussing how to convert temperature units Fahrenheit into Celsius. Fahrenheit and Celsius are the measuring units in degrees as ⁰F and ⁰C  respectively.

Program to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius

Fahrenheit to Celsius

In this program, the user declares and initializes a double variable Fahrenheit as 212.0. It will be converted into Celsius, using the scientific equation in the C programming language.

Program 1

#include <stdio.h>

int main() {
    // declaring variables
    float celsius,fahrenheit;
    //initializing variables
    fahrenheit=212;
    //Convert fahrenheit into celsius
    celsius=((fahrenheit-32)*5/9);
    printf("The Temparature in celsius is==%.2f ",celsius);

    return 0;
}

When the above code is executed, it produces the following result

The temperature in celsius is==100.00

 

Fahrenheit to Celsius – Entered by user

In this program, the user declares the variable as Double, then the user is asked to enter a double value to Fahrenheit. The entered value will be converted into Celsius, using the scientific equation in the C programming language.

When the above code is executed, it produces the following result
