In this tutorial, we will discuss the concept of the C# | Celsius into Fahrenheit with the function
In this post, we will learn how to write a program to convert Celsius into Fahrenheit using the scientific equations in C# programming language with an Example program.
Temperature and conversion
Generally, We have known three types of temperature units Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin. In this article, we are discussing how to convert temperature units Celsius into Fahrenheit. Fahrenheit and Celsius are the measuring units in degrees as 0F and 0C respectively.
scientific equation Fahrenheit= Celsius*9/5+32
In this program, the user declares a double variable as a parameter for Celsius in the user-defined function. When the user calls the function, the Celsius value passes to the function as an argument.
Finally, the Fahrenheit value is calculated and displayed on the screen using the scientific equations in C# programming language.
Program 1
// C# program to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius //using function using System; namespace Temperature { public class TempCelsToFahre1 { public static void Main(string[] args) { double fahrenheit=celsiusToFahrenheit(100.00); double fahrenheit1=celsiusToFahrenheit(25.00); double fahrenheit2=celsiusToFahrenheit(50.00); Console.WriteLine ("The temperature in Fahrenheit is: "+fahrenheit); Console.WriteLine ("The temperature in Fahrenheit is: "+fahrenheit1); Console.WriteLine ("The temperature in Fahrenheit is: "+fahrenheit2); Console.ReadLine(); } private static double celsiusToFahrenheit(double celsius) { return ((celsius*9/5)+32); } } }
When the above code is executed, it produces the following result
The temperature in Fahrenheit: is 212 The temperature in Fahrenheit: is 77 The temperature in Fahrenheit: is 122
Program 2
In this program, the user declares a double variable as a parameter for Celsius in the user-defined function. When the user runs the program (calling the function), the program is asked for the value for Celsius and stores the given value in the variable Celsius as an argument in the function.
Finally, the Fahrenheit value is calculated using scientific equations and displayed on the screen.
// C# program to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius //using function using System; namespace Temperature { public class TempCelsToFahre { public static void Main(string[] args) { Console.WriteLine ("Enter temperature in Celsius: "); double celsius=Convert.ToDouble(Console.ReadLine()); double fahrenheit=celsiusToFahrenheit(celsius); Console.WriteLine ("The temperature in Fahrenheit is:: "+fahrenheit); Console.ReadLine(); } private static double celsiusToFahrenheit(double celsius) { return ((celsius*9/5)+32); } } }
When the above code is executed, it produces the following result
Enter temperature in Celsius: 100.100 the temperature in Fahrenheit is: 212.18
